ProtoCall One delivers healthy results and strong future growth plans for 2008
ProtoCall One, the leading Genesys contact-centre solutions and consultancy
provider, has announced its preliminary financial results for the year ending 31st
December 2007. Revenue increased by 12 per cent year-on-year while maintaining a
healthy 20% net profit margin during the period. Utilisation across its professional
services team was 85% for the year.
Across the year, ProtoCall One attracted new senior staff to the company and has
increased employee numbers by nearly 60%. Key appointments included Sales and
Marketing Director Steve Robertson and Account Director Paul Warren; both
previously held senior sales roles with BT. As a sign of its commitment to its
Workforce Optimisation (WFO) Practice, ProtoCall One has appointed Andy Turner as
Head of Practice, Andy was previously head of workforce planning at Thomas Cook
Signature.
The company has set an aggressive revenue growth target of 55 per cent for 2008
with strong growth forecast across all areas of the business.
ProtoCall One has also formally launched its Business Intelligence (BI) Practice, and
signed up as an Oracle partner. The business has seen significant interest from both
Genesys customers and partners in its new offerings in this area and is forecasting
strong demand.
ProtoCall One also expanded its operations in April 2007 with the opening of an Asia-
Pacific (APAC) office in Sydney, Australia. Led by managing consultant Ian de Sousa
the office is capitalising on the Australian contact centre market, widely acknowledged
by industry experts as the most technologically advanced in the world and
experiencing strong growth.
Steve Robertson, Sales and Marketing Director, ProtoCall One, commented:
"ProtoCall One has had an exceptional year and we have all the building blocks in
place to grow our core Genesys business and develop our WFO and BI practices.
Our investment in people is the key to our success and is the primary reason why the
UK's largest Genesys users choose to work with us. We will soon have significant
contracts to announce and are confident that the year ahead will be another year of
significant growth."
